Disneyland Paris *Throwbacks*.πŸ‘ΈπŸ»πŸ‘‘

Hello Princes and Princesses, Kings & Queens. I hope you are all having a fabulous day today. 😘 Today I am going to be sharing with you some pictures from my trip to Disneyland Paris last year, hence the Princes and Princesses, everyone loves Disneyland right? So who wouldn’t want to see a post all about Disneyland Paris? πŸ˜πŸ’πŸ»

I visited Disneyland Paris in February ’15 with my bestie Emily. It was sooooo cold, we were wearing two sets of leggings and had to buy hats and gloves. Despite the weather we still had a great time!

We arrived in Paris at the Charles De Gaulle airport late evening and even though we had paid for transportation to take us to Disneyland, unfortunately nothing showed up meaning we had to get a taxi which cost us €90. We made sure to get this refunded once we got home and it turns out the travel bus we paid for was doesn’t run at night, which is all very well butΒ it would have been nice if they told us this rather than offering us the service and allowing us to pay for it in the first place. Meh, what can you do?

Emily and I stayed in the Santa Fe hotel, which was lovely, even though it didn’t have wifi. πŸ˜‰

Friday was our first full day so we decided to venture in to Paris and play tourists. We had lunch at a nice Italian restaraunt and battled through the wind to find the Eiffel Tower and take pictures. Next stop was The Louvre museum which was amazing because there were so many French Soldiers about carrying guns, and I totally got a charming smile off of one of them. πŸ˜πŸ˜‰ I would have loved to have gone inside the actual gallery and seen the Mona Lisa, but you have to pay to see the artwork so we decided to save our money instead. Perhaps another time I will get to do this. 😊 We spent absolutely ages trying to find the Arc De Triomphe, going this way and that on the train but bizzarely we just couldn’t find it. This is so amusing because it’s so huge and such a landmark, but never mind, we did find a huge shopping centre instead and I spent way too much money on makeup. I bought the whole YSL Spring / Summer makeup collection which amounted to €300, when in Paris right? I still have most of it now.

Obviously we spent the majority of time at the parks, and we made sure to catch the awesome firework display. Fireworks are always fun, but Disneyland do fireworks like no other. It was an incredible show and was so magical, when I went to bed that night I kept hallucinating and seeing giant Mickey Mouse’s all over the wall. Mad, but so so cool.

On the Saturday morning we attended Character Breakfast, which was so delicious. Character Breakfast is a full on breakfast buffet with everything you could want to eat – sausages, scrambled egg, bacon, cereal ect. Thinking about it now just makes me want to go back. Along with the tasty food, the Disney Characters will come out so you can meet and take photos with them. We got photo’s with Mickey, Eeyore and many others. Eeyore was definitely the sassiest of them all.

We spent loads of times going on all the fun rides. My favourite rides were definitely the Rock & Rollercoaster and The Tower Of Terror located in the Walt Disney Studios park. The atmosphere on the Rock & Rollercoaster was awesome, as they played exciting music throughout. We went on it twice but the second time was a bit of a let down as they didn’t play the music. I also had a bit of a disaster because my arm got stuck in the seat restraint before we ‘took off’ so I had to shout persistantly for assistance. Mortifying, but funny. The Tower Of Terror was such a giggle and we spent our queue time good naturedly winding up the ride attendant, he looked so annoyed with us I genuinely thought he was going to break the ride with us on it out of revenge. Luckily he didn’t. The other rides were all great fun too, and I loved competing against Emily on the buzz light year ride. Another ride I couldn’t get enough of was ‘It’s a small world’, a relaxing and beautiful ‘boat’ ride taking you through scenery of different locations in the world. So stunning and spirit lifting.

We left on Monday afternoon and made sure to spend some time at the Park before we had to go to the airport. We had such a great time at Disneyland Paris and I would so love to go back again soon, it truly is one of the most magical places on earth. Emily and I are hoping to go away to Disneyworld Florida next year, so Paris may have to wait, but I definitely intend on going back again at some point in the near future.

Have you been to Disneyland Paris, would you like to go? Be sure to let me know in the comments! Thankyou for reading, love Jennie. πŸ’– xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  1. It looks amazing! I went to Paris in March 2015 and had a beautiful time there. We saw the Eiffel Tower, Arc De Triomphe, The Lourve and Notre Dame, which is the big cathedral there. I think we found a huge shopping centre there as well which was so beautiful and posh!
