This week has possibly been one of my best yet in relation to health and fitness, despite the fact I still don’t feel anywhere near where I want to be (although I’ll give myself a small pat on the back because hurray, I’ve dropped a dress size), I know if I keep working hard and doing what I’m doing I will definitely get to where I want to be. I have little over a month until I go on holiday and I’ve just bought a gorgeous new bikini from Ted Baker so I’ve got all the motivation I need to achieve my goals.
I’ve exercised loads this week, as I’ve done four HIIT workouts, two of them being really intense and I’ve been doing plenty of sit ups too. Yesterday I finally made it back to the gym and even though all I’ve been talking about is how much I’ve been missing it, when it came to it I really had to push myself to go back. I was so tempted to go home and tell myself I’ll go next week but I know the minute I start doing that for no good reason will be the minute I give up completely and that can’t be done! Once I got to the gym I was obviously happy I went and I enjoyed an hours session, 45 minutes on the exercise bike and 15 minutes on the cross trainer. My body wasn’t ready to face the treadmill again after three weeks off but I’ll definitely aim to go on it next week. The funny thing is as I was just wrapping up my session an alarm started going off and we all got evacuated outside. Luckily after around 10 minutes we were allowed back in but I took that as my cue to call it a night and say ‘see ya next week gym’! Typical that would happen on my first day back and I was all on my own!
I’ve eaten pretty well this week and wouldn’t say I’ve had any major over the top cheat days, although there’s definitely still plenty of room for improvement when it comes to my diet and that’s what I’ve really got to try and focus on. I’m a million times better than I was before but I still need to cut out the snacking at work and start having smaller portions at dinner time. Overall though I think I’m doing okay!
This coming week my goals are to exercise every day mainly focusing on sit ups, to hit the gym twice and to do two intense HIIT workouts plus I want to be a lot stricter with my diet. I may find eating healthy a struggle since I’m going to see Bieber in London tomorrow then I’m off to Paris next Saturday so I’m going to be surrounded by temptation, but I’m gonna try my best and make myself proud by not giving in (although I’ll still be sure to enjoy myself)!
What have you achieved this week? What are your health and fitness goals for the next few days?
Let me know in the comments below.
Thank you for reading.

I started exercising on Monday last week. So I’m a week in. Can’t go to the gym so I do yoga instead and I love it. I get full body workouts and wake up feeling sore but fantastic. I have lots of energy now. I’m also working on my eating habits, not eating anymore junk food, etc. I’m doing really well and have been incorporating fruits and veggies into all of my meals. 🙂 I’m so proud of you for sticking with it! And have fun in paris!

Ah yay well done! Yoga is something I’ve never really done but would love to try, I’m glad you enjoy it! That’s brilliant that you’re feeling more energetic, I think that’s so important when starting a fitness journey, its so much more important than just how you look. Whats your favourite fruit!? Thank you hun, and good luck with your journey too xxx

It’s really very energizing! Full body workouts and stretches and all around feeling good. If you ever decide to try yoga, look up yoga with adriene on YouTube. She’s an amazing instructor! She has hundreds of videos for beginners and intermediate levels. She also has some videos that are are short as 5 mins or 60 mins. 🙂
And at the moment I’m loving strawberries a lot lol.
Thank you! Good luck with our fitness as well!!
