Hey everybody!
This morning I finally did my first proper work out since being back from Florida and it felt amazing.
I sweated my way through a twenty minute workout and felt so buzzing to be getting back into my health and fitness, something I’ve seriously been slacking on this past month or two.
I know in my previous fitness post, I discussed focusing on leading more of a consistently healthy lifestyle rather than thinking of it as a journey with targets to achieve etc etc, however I’ve come to the decision that at least for now I’ve really got to set myself some goals so I have something to focus on and something to guide me because I tell you what, my lifestyle’s been anything but healthy lately. I ate so much pizza and mac and cheese in America, it’s a wonder I’m not a walking cheddar by now. Amazingly though, coming back to work I actually got some compliments on my figure with the girls saying ‘how have you come back so skinny?’ sooo I guess the singular five minute workout I did in the hotel bathroom and the 20,000 steps I walked everyday must have paid off, haha.

With the festive season coming up in just two months I thought it would be a good idea to set myself some pre Christmas fitness goals to focus on. We all know that once December rolls around health and fitness will be taking more of a back seat to make way for the festivities, so I’ll definitely be setting myself separate goals for then, however until December arrives these are the goals I’m setting myself.
Diet Goals
- To have a daily calorie allowance with a maximum of 1500 calories per day
- To drink a glass of water before every meal
- To eat at least 5 portions of fruit and veg a day
- To incorporate as much fruit and veg into my meals as possible
Fitness Goals
- To go to the gym at least once a week
- To do at least one twenty minute home workout a week
- To do a minimum of 10 minutes exercise per day
- To go for at least one walk per week
Bring it on!!
Now these goals are set I’m so excited to achieve, achieve, achieve.
What are your health and fitness goals for the next couple of months? Let me know in the comments below!
Thank you all for reading,
love,
Jennie

Great goals! I love the holiday season because of food, but I really want to limit the amount I eat and exercise more. I actually did a 60 min workout last Thursday before Mother Nature showed up and messed up my rhythm. Lol. I’m dying to get back into that routine because I felt really good and I’ve been going to sleep much earlier when I do exercise in the morning. Not to mention, drinking plenty of water has made me feel so much better.
