Weekly Fitness | Time To Get Strict

Hey girls, guys, ladies and gentsss!

Today it’s time to get strict. And when I say get strict I mean stop being so greedy and eating so much, ha ha ha.

Exercise wise I am smashing my fitness goals, last week I had an amazing session at the gym (my first time there in at least a month), I completed one twenty minute home workout and did some form of exercise most days which is brilliant. Exercising makes me feel so good and I love working out, keeping my body fit and healthy. I really want to be more athletic and this is something I’m going to continue working on in the coming weeks.

Where I haven’t been so successful however, is sticking to my eating goals. I have definitely been consuming way more than 1500 calories a day and I haven’t even tried to resist temptation when it comes to snacks. This ain’t good.

Considering how much I exercise I know I could achieve so much more and be so much happier in my body if I just stuck to a lower calorie allowance and actually made an effort to be healthier, but I just haven’t been lately. I just think yolo and eat whatever I want, which is great in moderation but not everyday.

With this said, I’m going to continue with both my fitness and diet goals making sure I keep up the amount of exercise I’m doing. I’m not going to load anything more to that plate (lol excuse the pun) however I’m really going to focus on my eating for the foreseeable future making sure I do my best to keep to my 1500 calorie a day allowance. If I go over slightly then so be it, but I’m definitely going to be a lot stricter with myself and not think ‘f*ck it’ quite so much.

To help keep me motivated I have seen the most beautiful dress over on prettylittlething which I really want for Halloween / Christmas nights out. It’s a Bodycon dress so quite figure hugging, but that’s great because it means every time I go to reach for the chocolate I can think nope, I wanna look fire in that dress! As much as I want to buy it now, I think I’m going to wait a couple of weeks and only allow myself to buy it if I’ve succeeded at sticking with my diet/fitness goals. If that’s not motivation I don’t know what is!

  1. You’re exercising, so that’s all that matters. I had such a great workout for an hour and I was planning on keeping at it, but mother nature showed up and it usually takes me a freaking week to recover from that alone 😦
So this week, I’m just going to have to start all over again. Good news is, I have* been doing some form of exercise even if it’s super vigorous. Definitely lots of walking and hiking 🙂
