2017 In Photographs

Wow! I can’t believe I’m sat here writing this. Where does the time go? 2017 went by so quickly, it’s like I blinked and I missed it. It was the fastest year I’ve known but they do say time flies when you’re having fun, so I guess that could be why. 2017 was such a wonderful year with lots of incredible experiences, visiting new places and making memories with my loved ones. To reflect I have decided to look back on my year through photographs so if you’d like to reminisce on my 2017 with me, grab a cup of tea, sit back, relax and read on!

January was a brilliant start to 2017 as I celebrated the new year with my best friend, visited family in Chippenham, celebrated my birthday with a super fun girls night out and took a day trip to London with two of my faves where I got to experience the London Eye for the first time. I had so much fun.

February was another fun month which was filled with a couple of great nights out, one with my work girls and another with my besties. It was also the month my family discovered a brilliant little pub in Buckingham called The White Hart, where we went for a spontaneous dinner and instantly fell in love with the place.

March was a brilliant month, starting with a spontaneous night out with my girls and continuing with lots of day / weekend trips including a weekend away in Chippenham visiting my family, a trip to London with my parents and sister to see School Of Rock and a day trip to London for some shopping and sightseeing with Emily.

April was a month for exploring, visiting new places and trying new things. I attempted hill sprints for the first time ever, had a couple of brilliant nights out including celebrating two of my best friends birthdays, had a brilliant day exploring Stonehenge with my family and took a trip to Blackpool with my squad for a weekend of fun activities including going on allll the rides at Blackpool Pleasure Beach and posing with celebrities at Madame Tussauds.

May was a much quieter month. I focused on my fitness, celebrated Atlanta’s birthday with a night out with my favourite work squad and finished the month off with another night out with my girlies.

June was another lowkey month but lovely all the same as it involved a sunny day trip to see my grandparents, a night out celebrating Daisy’s birthday and a fun day trip to Thorpe Park with Emily and Chantal.

July was an exciting month as I saw Justin Bieber live for the first time, experienced one of the best weekends of my life with my best friend at Disney Land Paris for Electroland, took a day trip to Birmingham for my work conference and ended the month with a fun night out with my besties.

Although August didn’t get off to the best start it actually turned out to be pretty fab. It was the month I discovered my passion for Outfit Of The Days, I socialised with my friends lots and had some great times with them, I spent a weekend in Oulton Broad with my parents where I drove a little day boat and ate delicious food, I spent a day at the zoo with my besties, spent a day in Surrey visiting my Grandparents and exploring my favourite places St Ann’s Hill and Penton Hook and finally took a trip down to Bognor with my family to celebrate my cousins wedding. What a brilliant month!

In September I vacationed to Florida for the first time ever with my best friend Emily. We swam with dolphins, cast spells in Harry Potter World, trick or treated in Magic Kingdom, met all the princesses, met Mickey and Minnie and generally just had the most magical time of our lives. I can’t wait to go back!

October meant one thing, Halloween! I had the best time celebrating the spooky season with my family and friends. I carved pumpkins with my family, had a fun night out with my work girls and visited PRYZM nightclub in Watford for the first time with my besties. The month was one of ups and downs as I also had the stress of moving house that month, but Halloween week was definitely a positive one.

November was a fun month as I celebrated my Dads 60th birthday and also started getting festive with my friends. My grandparents came up to visit, my brother and his family came to visit, I went out for lots of delicious dinners, went out for drinks and cute shopping trips with the girls and generally just had a month filled with all the people that I love. Perfect.

December was a great month and I celebrated the festive season perfectly, ending the year in the best way. I took a day trip to London with my work huns where I ate my favourite Camden street food, went shopping in Bicester with my squad, took festive photos in the snow with my parents, day tripped to the Harry Potter Studios Tour with Emily and celebrated Christmas with my family. It was a lovely month filled with an abundance of fun and all my favourite people.

2017 was an amazing year filled with an abundance of adventure and memory making with all of my favourite people. Looking back on the year I am reminded of just how blessed I really am and I realise how lucky I am to lead the life I live. Reflecting on the awesomeness of 2017 has reminded me to always be grateful for the blessings I continuously receive, make the most of every single day, appreciate every moment and live my best life always. Here’s to another amazing year!

A massive congratulations to those who’ve made it all the way through this post, it turned out way longer than I expected and you’re the real MVP if you read it all! I hope you all had a fabulous 2017 and may your 2018 be filled with blessings upon blessings upon blessings!

Thank you all for reading,

  1. So many great photos and memories! Even though I firmly believe that we should live in the moment, it’s always good to remember to take a few snap shots along the way because there are also times you’ll want to remember forever. 🙂 ❤ And 2017 was a good year for you!
