Let The Magic Begin…

THEMA
Hogwarts in the background because is there anything more magical than Harry Potter World?

Hi my loves! How is everybody?

Anybody who knows me or who has followed my blog for a while will know that I’m a massive fan of ‘The Secret’ and a believer in the ‘Law Of Attraction’. Simply put the Law Of Attraction states that what you put out to the Universe you receive back, so if you put out love and positivity, love and positivity is what you will receive back.

I’d say in the past few weeks I’ve been in a slightly negative slump. I’ve been worrying about situations that for one are out of my control and secondly, aren’t really important enough to be worrying about. Nevertheless, these negative thoughts have consumed my mind to the point where yesterday I thought enough is enough and decided to make a drastic change when it came to my mind-set, my attitude and my thinking.

That’s why I have decided to start The Magic practice, a 28 day Law Of Attraction gratitude practice designed by the creators of The Secret to turn people’s lives around in a positive way and remind us that gratitude is the key to unlocking our dreams and living a life of abundance.

Gratitude

The Magic is a book which includes 28 days of gratitude practices including list making, relationship healing, night time routines and more to follow through so our lives can become truly magical and after being in a negative slump for a while I thought this would be the perfect practice to uplift me and bring me back my mojo.

I started it yesterday and before I started, I wrote down a list of 28 things I would like to manifest by the end of this practice. The list is in my diary and I’m looking forward to looking back on it when the 28 days are up so I can see what I’ve achieved. Honestly, so far I already feel like a completely different person and we’re only on day 2.

Day 1’s practice is to begin the day by writing a list of 10 things you are grateful for. This step is to be repeated every day for the next 28 days and yes, it does mean I’ll have to get up a little earlier on days I have work but its a sacrifice I’m willing to make if it means I am more thankful.

START

Yesterday after beginning the Magic practice I had a truly amazing day, my happiest, most peaceful and calming days in a long time. My heart felt at ease and I trusted the Universe with everything. It’s amazing how just one day of positivity and gratitude has changed my mind set and I am so excited to see where the next 28 days takes me.

To hopefully inspire others to practice gratitude more often (not necessarily by participating in the Magic practice but just being thankful) I am going to be documenting some of my ‘magic journey’ over here on the blog so we can all come together and see how our lives can change through the power of gratitude.

Tonight’s practice is The Magic rock, another practice to be completed daily (or nightly as it’s to be done straight before bed) where you hold your gratitude rock and think through the best things that happened in your day, then choose your favourite moment and feel gratitude for it. My day is only half way through so I’ve still got lots more to be thankful for coming my way and I’m excited to do this practice tonight so I can fall asleep with the feelings of gratitude in my heart.

Here’s to the next 28 days (well, 26 now) of gratitude and positivity. Let’s see where it can take us.

What are ten things you are grateful for today? Be sure to leave your list down in the comments below and don’t forget to say thank you!

Thank you all for reading,

love,

Jennie.

  1. I keep telling myself that I’m going to do something like this and I haven’t. I need to create some sort of reminder somehow. I would love to do it every night before I go to sleep to sort of let it all go before I fall asleep and wake up with a fresh mindset.
Today I’m grateful for my boys who made the day easier for me and allowed me to take some time to do what I wanted.
I’m grateful that I finished most of my chores without stressing about it.
And that’s it.. lol. I didn’t do much today but it was a chill day
