Don’t Decrease The Goal

“Don’t decrease the goal, increase the effort”. – Tom Coleman

This is one of my favourite quotes of all time and easily my go to quote when I’ve set myself a huge goal that can sometimes seem a little scary and potentially have me thinking, how on Earth am I going to achieve that? Well, by putting the work in of course.

When you set yourself a big goal it can feel a little daunting at first and as you take steps towards achieving that goal, it can feel like the easier option would be to accept settling for less because less is ‘more achievable’, but why should you settle? I truly believe that if you really want something and fully set your mind to your goals, with hard work and perseverance you can and will achieve.

Instead of opting to settle, work harder. Put in those hours, make those phone calls, do whatever you have to do to make it happen. Your goals and dreams have been given to you for a reason.

The Universe wouldn’t have given you these dreams if you weren’t able to achieve them.

Whatever your goal is, reach for the moon. Dare to dream and aim as high as possible, knowing that if you believe it you can achieve it. Hard work does pay off and the only thing that can ever stand in your way is yourself. When you want something, and want it with your whole heart, the Universe will conspire and shift for you to ensure you get exactly what your heart desires.

Don’t decrease the goal, increase the effort. If you believe, you can achieve.

What do you intend to achieve today? What are your goals for the next week, the next month, the next year? How do you plan on achieving them? Let me know in the comments below!

Thank you all for reading,

love,

Jennie
