Outfit Of The Day | Birthday Night Out

Hi huns!

Today I am going to be sharing with you a little outfit of the day, and this outfit is the one which I wore on my birthday night out to Manchester this past weekend.

If I’m honest, I’m not overly thrilled with how these photos turned out … I shot so many photographs but there was something that seemed off about ALL of them, I put it down to my hair because it felt really dry and crispy at the time of taking these photos, and I felt like it showed in the pictures. And now that I’ve brought your attention to my dry and damaged hair, we may as well just jump straight into the outfit.

I was informed before heading to Manchester that the club we would be visiting was very casual, meaning no heels. Now that’s okay, because sometimes on a night out you just wanna chill in some comfy shoes so you can really throw some shapes but still, I wanted to dress up a little. My friend Chantal recently gave me this lovely playsuit from Young Bohemians and it’s perfect for a casual night out. It’s casual, but still nice, and can be dressed up or down accordingly. What I love the most about this playsuit is the flared sleeves and the choker style detail. The playsuit is a little loose around the cleavage area, so I do have to safety pin it. I decided to wear my Gucci trainers with this outfit as they stand out and add more impact to the outfit. I also wore my fishnet socks with this outfit, because I thought it would be too boring for me otherwise to only wear a playsuit and trainers. I had to add a little something something!

I kept my accessories simple with this outfit. Hoop earrings are a must regardless, especially with a more casual outfit because they add a little oomph and as per usual, of course I wore my watch. I decided to use my black clutch bag with this outfit because although I would have liked to have gone for something with a little more colour, the only other clutch I have is baby pink and that would have clashed with the red in my trainers, so black it was!
