Madame Tussauds New York City

Hello my angels and welcome back to my blog. Hiiiiii, how are ya (to be read in the voice of Jeffree Star). As mentioned briefly in my ‘Welcome To My Bookshelf Recently Read Reviews October 2019’, I have just arrived back from holiday. I say ‘just arrived back’ as if it hasn’t been over a week already, and if you’re wondering where I vacationed to, then the answer awaits you no longer. I had the absolute pleasure of visiting New York City, the most wonderful place in the world. My first visit was back when I was 10, and this was my second. Now, I’ve set the intention with the Universe to go back at least once every single year because I just love it so, so much. It really is the greatest city on Earth.

Whilst in New York, my best friend (who I went on holiday with) and I of course had to visit the Madame Tussauds located in Times Square, and though you can purchase your tickets separately for this attraction we were able to get in using our New York Pass which is something I highly recommend purchasing (it saves you so much money, and gives you the opportunity to visit / do so much more than you necessarily would without it). Of course at Madame Tussauds, you get to ‘meet’ a ton of exciting celebrities, and naturally, take an abundance of photos. In today’s post, I thought it would be a lot of fun to share with you a handful of the pictures I took whilst visiting, so you can get an insight into what Madame Tussauds NYC is like, and who you can expect to see there… Enjoy!

EMPIRE STATE OF MIND. It’s Alicia Keys and I. I guess it’s only fitting to have Alicia as one of the very first celebrities you ‘meet’ here in the NYC Madame Tussauds. I love how our outfits are pretty much identical too… I swear it wasn’t planned.

Myself and Taylor Swift… I’ve always liked Taylor’s music but never considered myself her biggest fan, but lately I am just loving her. Her music is fantastic, I’m loving her new album, and I think she’s a genius. I definitely had to get my photo with her.

Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson… aka Jacob and Edward. Quite possibly the most random waxworks here in the NYC Madame Tussauds. Twilight finished forever ago. But the real question is, are you Team Edward or Team Jacob? I was a bit of both back in the day, depending on the movie, but now I’d probably say I’m Team Jacob, if you asked.

Kim… you’re doing amazing sweetie. Of course I had to get my photo with the one and only Kris Jenner. Mom-ager of the century, LOL. They had a few Kardashians / Jenners in the museum, including Kendall, Kim and Kourtney.

Speaking of… myself and Kim. Btw guys, I’d definitely recommend wearing an all black outfit to Madame Tussauds, it makes for the perfect photos because you end up pretty much matching / fitting in with everyone & everything. Yay!

It’s myself and Kendall. My friend got the most perfect posed picture with Kendall here, however mine is just me doing my usual pose of… smiling. This ones kind of a hard one to pose with!

From TV royalty to real royalty now, it’s the Queen and I. Someone had left their Bud Light on the table when we walked in to get our picture, so I had to pose with it and get a funny pic. It looks like an Insta ad for Bud Light! So funny!

It’s Kate and Wills! More royalty. They don’t have Harry and Meghan… yet. I wonder if they will soon?

And throwing it back to before I met the Royals, I actually spent some time with the Dalai Lama, sharing the love and all that…

Oh, and did I tell you I met Bruno Mars… and he SANG for me? Hehehe! I do love a bit of 24k magic!

From squad goals…

…To chilling with the president. We had to pay to get a picture with Donald Trump. Obviously, we couldn’t resist! I wonder who the President will be next time I visit? Well, time will tell!

I hope you enjoyed this fun post showcasing my photos from Madame Tussauds New York City. It’s such a fun place to visit and here in the NYC museum they had some wonderful waxworks of well known, popular celebrities. This is definitely up there as one of the best Madame Tussauds I’ve visited, I’d rank it at number 2 on my list out of the 4 I’ve visited (so far) and Madame Tussauds Blackpool takes the crown with the number 1 spot. I’m so looking forward to visiting more.
