It’s okay to break, it’s not forever | Poetry

It’s okay to cry

It’s okay to ache

It’s okay to hurt

It’s okay to break

It doesn’t make you weak

Doesn’t make you fake

But just hold on

Cos’ there are better days

We came to this Earth

To feel it all

From the good to the bad

It’s what we came here for

To experience love

To experience joy

But it’s okay to not feel

That all the time

You don’t have to be the sunshine

Everyday

But just know rainbows come after

Hurricanes

So if you’re feeling low

If you’re feeling down

Remember it’s not long

Till things turn around

Don’t feel bad when you’re not feeling like yourself

It’s okay

Take the time for your mental health

Look deeper try and find

What this is teaching you

And understand

That when you break

That’s how the light gets through

These feelings aren’t forever

But there’s always love

So when you’re feeling down

Try and find that trust

Put your feelings in your heart

And let that love grow

Better days are on their way

Let the good times roll

❤️

    1. Thank you lovely ❤️❤️❤️ I know!! I wrote this I think when I was having a rough little moment- I keep saying the first week of lockdown I really was miserable but it got so much better since then, so even in the low moments I remind myself that it got better before so it will get better again!! Cherish the good and grow from the not so good! Sending you lots of love and light beauty! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
