Today I’m here with a very special post – the Sunshine blogger award – which my gorgeous Xandria nominated me for. I only ‘met’ Xandria this year, and what a blessing she is. She has fast become one of my favourite people on the blogosphere and a wonderful friend. She is kind, caring, thoughtful, compassionate and fun. I love her and her blog so much, if you’re not already following her then make sure you do so now. She’s a beauty inside and out. Of course, a big thank you Xandria for nominating me. Xandria’s questions…

What do you think is the closest thing to real magic? – What a beautiful question! The closest thing to real magic… love right? And those little moments of perfection, those moments when you’re just completely *in* the moment, the moments when you’re at peace with life and just enjoying yourself, carefree, laughing, having fun with the people you love & who love you. Knowing love, caring for others. Seeing my baby nephews smile and their whole eyes light up. Seeing the people I love smile. Those moments when you’re just vibrating with love, happiness and good energy. Meditation, *a-ha* moments when you just foresee something or know something is going to happen. Little predictions, when you think something briefly like ‘I have a feeling the next song on my music shuffle will be this’ and then it is – brief story time going here –

*the other day I felt like my psychic abilities were in full swing haha. I was at my Grandparents and a brief thought came over me that I’d love to know more about a certain matter, but I didn’t want to ask because it’s a sensitive & personal topic, anyway, literally a moment after thinking it, my Gran mentioned what I was thinking about and this is something I’ve never spoken about with her before. It was beautiful, my sweet Grandma. Then the following day I was in the shower thinking about relationships and I guess kind of receiving a message that I had to fall in love with myself more, I still had deeper self love to get into etc. I think I was kind of thinking about how I wanted to be loved maybe and in my head I was thinking well I need to do all these things for myself first, something along those lines and then I just knew, oh ‘Soulmate’ by Lizzo is definitely going to be the next song that plays on my shuffle, it’s an obvious sign. What do you know, as soon as the current song had finished what started playing? SOULMATE by Lizzo. It’s those little moments that are real magic, they’re not even close to real magic, they simply are magic.*

I think everything in life is magic, smiling, laughing, feeling things. WE are magic, we have the Universe running through us because we are the Universe, and that is magic.

What celebrity would you rate as a perfect 10? – Okay I feel like I’ve just gone from writing a really deep answer to something that I don’t have a lot of thoughts on hahaha. Can I say Lily James? I actually don’t follow her much as a person but every character she plays (Young Donna, Cinderella, Deborah in Baby Driver) oh she’s just a dream. I love her!

If you could know the absolute and total truth to one question, what question would you ask? – Oh this is a good question… I really really don’t know. Actually I do know, but it’s a little bit controversial haha. I’d love to know the answer to an unsolved crime. It’s such a mystery and conspiracy that I just want to know the truth!!! What happened to Madeleine McCann? I feel like this is one of the biggest mysteries… was it the parents, was it someone else? So many questions and whilst I don’t need to know, if I could ask any question and have the real truth it would be that. There’s literally nothing else I need to know because life is just life isn’t it, I’m here to go with the flow and enjoy.

What weird food combinations do you really enjoy? – Coming from the fussiest eater I don’t know how to answer this haha. I’m such a boring eater, I’m sorry Xandria I can’t answer this LOL.

What are some red flags to watch out for in daily life? – Oooh, a good question. Do you mean from other people? People who love to say they’re one thing, all the time, which shows they’re really not. People who like to throw in a ‘but’… ‘I’m not a bitch at all but this person is this, this and this’… okay… so you’re not a bitch but you just bitched? Just do you and own it. Especially when it’s everyday ‘I’m not a bitch but blah blah blah’. We all have our bitchy moments but just say your piece and gooo, saying you’re not a bitch everyday before bitching about someone doesn’t give you a pass to be bitchy, you’re still being a bitch haha. Like when Georgia loved to say she was ‘Loyal’ on Love Island – saying you’re loyal doesn’t make you loyal. I feel like if you have to say you are or aren’t something constantly, it just means you’re the exact opposite. Like if a guy feels the need to tell me he’s a ‘nice’ guy, that’s an immediate red flag. I dated someone once who loved to tell me how much of a nice guy he was, but in reality, he wasn’t nice to me at all!

What movie can you watch over and over without ever getting tired of? – MAMMA MIA Here We Go Again. What a stunning film… again, Lily James.

What animal would be cutest if scaled down to the size of a cat? – Omg haha I love this question Xandria, this question really tickles me for some reason it’s just so adorable. Hm… maybe a lion or tiger or something like that, a big cat as a small cat hehe. Imagine a baby pet tiger awwwwwwwww *no I’m not Carol Baskin. Also, I think a baby elephant would be so cute too!

What “old person” things do you do? – Oh! I’m going to have to ask my fam to answer this one for me… hehe. – Okay, the other day I said ‘I just love babies, they bring so much joy’ and my sister said I sounded old, LOL. So we’ll just go with that statement hehe.

What’s your cure for hiccups? – Take a deep breath in, hold your nose and your breath for a count of 30. Usually does the trick, but be careful, don’t hold your breath for longer than you’re comfortable for.

What 3 songs hit you with a wave of nostalgia every time you hear them? – There’s this one song that’s on an advert and it gets me every time, I can’t even think of it now – just googled it it’s called ‘Ça plane pour moi’ by Plastic Bertrand… oh it just does something to my soul, almost hurts it a little because it makes me feel so nostalgic for, I don’t even know what… but yeah, that song it gets me. As for another 2, maybe ‘Ultraviolet’ from the Angus Thongs & Perfect Snogging movie because oh it takes me back to my teen years and hanging out with my friends.. maybe ‘The ‘Thrill’ by Wiz Khalifa, there’s SO many. But definitely ‘Ça plane pour moi’. Also the vibes of ‘Chateau’ by Angus and Julia Stone, oh wow, those vibes… make you just want to live.

What bit of trivia do you know that is very interesting but also very useless? – HA. My go to would be that elephants think humans are cute, but I actually don’t know how anyone discovered this. Adorable if true.
