It’s easy to be positive when things are going well. Say you’re on a ‘winning streak’ and everything’s fantastic, of course you’re going to be feeling good – vibrating on a high frequency and attracting positive circumstances, that’s exactly how it should be.
We should all be living a fantastic, happy and positive life.
However, sometimes things don’t go exactly to plan. Occasionally, in our lives things might happen that aren’t exactly ideal.
The key is to stay positive, regardless of what may or may not be happening.
Even if something does go wrong in your life, it’s so important to keep a positive mind set about the situation in order to turn things around and reach the best possible outcome.
I’m going to tell you a story now all about a time I used the power of positive thinking to fix a negative situation and achieve a positive outcome.
A couple of years ago I was on a night out, celebrating completing my college course and performing at the Kerrang Awards. I was loving life, on a high and I may or may not have consumed a little too much alcohol.
Shock horror, it was a messy night for me and as the girls and I arrived home and started sobering up I realised I had lost pretty much everything – my iPhone, my bank card and my Burberry perfume (I’m also pretty sure I lost my dignity that night too but lets not go there ha ha).
The girls and I searched everywhere, I was working the next day but Emily and Chantal were kind enough to return to the nightclub we were at the previous night and ask if any of my belongings had been handed in. There was no luck there as the club hadn’t found any of my stuff, so I was baffled as to where I had lost everything.
Had my belongings been stolen? Had I just misplaced them with no luck of finding them? I had no idea, but I’ll be honest, I wasn’t worried.
I didn’t get stressed out, I didn’t panic, I didn’t think ‘oh no, what am I going to do?’. I wasn’t worried about having to buy a new phone, all I did was cancel my bank card just to be on the safe side.
I kept a positive mind set and kept telling myself and anyone who asked that everything would be fine and work out.
It was all good.
About three days later Emily text me telling me she had a call from someone saying they had my phone, bank card and perfume and they wanted to know how they could return it all to me!
It happened to be the taxi driver who had dropped us home the night I lost everything! I’d left all my stuff in his car, he had found it and somehow managed to grab Emily’s number from my phone and tell her he had it. So amazing!!
Emily passed his number on to me and we arranged a time and a place for him to drop my stuff off, he ended up driving to my Mums work and giving it to her to give to me.
How lovely of him!!!!
It was so kind of the taxi driver to return my stuff to me and I am so thankful for his lovely, helpful gesture. Although my Mum gave him some petrol money for dropping it off at her work, he really didn’t expect anything for his kindness and returned my belongings out of the goodness of his heart.
Thanks to the Law Of Attraction and the power of staying positive, a situation that could have been stressful and expensive (having to buy a new phone etc.) was resolved with ease and I strongly believe the positive outcome of the situation was all down to how I reacted to what happened.
Staying positive and trusting the Universe is easy, all you have to do is have a little faith and if something happens in your life which you’re not happy about, focus on the best possible outcome to that situation and believe.
‘Miracles always happen when you believe’.
All you need is faith, trust and pixie dust.
Thank you for reading,
love,
Jennie.

Side note – Since writing this post I have grown SO much, and I 100% stand by everything I said in the original post. Positivity is key, and expecting positive outcomes truly does make a difference – hello, that’s how I manifested all my lost belongings to me. But I want to also give a reminder here, that it’s okay to be down. I have learnt so much since writing this blog post and the Law Of Attraction & Spirituality goes deeper than just being ‘positive’. Obviously, this was a great success story for me and it is down to my positive thinking, and putting my complete faith and trust in the Universe, but I’ve also learnt recently that doing the inner work is key to in order to experience those deeper manifestations & deeper happiness – meditate, journal, heal, work through your limiting beliefs and you’ll be manifesting better than ever before. This morning, I was journaling, with tears running down my face because I was hurting, but I let it out, I’m doing the inner work, now… I’m feeling so much better, right? Positivity is key, but so is doing the inner work, diving deeper and healing.

I love this! There have been times where I’ve done the same, just let things be and move on only to get rewarded later 🙂
I am a believer in the law of attraction, have been since I was like….19 after I experienced my very first panic attack / anxiety episodes that lasted months. Not cool. But I began believing in putting out good vibes and I have been practicing that more often rather than worry about how the state of the world is. I am hoping that everything will turn out ok.

Yes exactly hun, so glad you’ve experienced the same!!! Omg hun, sometimes I think we come into this knowledge etc after a tough experience, almost like the panic attacks etc are what triggered this ‘awakening’ sort of… like since breaking up with my most recent ex I got so much more into Spirituality than I was before!! Good for you hun, the better you feel the better life gets ❤ Everything will be more than okay, and I'm so excited for our trip to NYC!
