Happy Self Love Wednesday | Self Love Guided Meditation & Affirmations

Hello, my beautiful, wonderful friends.

How are YOU today?

It’s self love Wednesday, which I totally just made up, and that’s totally okay, hehe.

So first of all, take this moment to do something for yourself, to honour yourself.

Check in with yourself, how are you feeling right now? Are you feeling good, not so good, how are you feeling?

Have a little journal, express yourself and let your mind and emotions flow. Take time out for YOU.

Affirm: ‘I deserve to take the time out for myself, to look after myself and to do the things I love and enjoy’.

I always talk about how important self love is, it’s one of my go to’s when it comes to my blog and my Instagram. You can read my post ‘The Importance Of Self Love and Loving Yourself’ here, for more on all things self love!

Self Love is so important, the more we love ourselves, the more joy we feel, we know we are in control of our happiness, we take responsibility for our own happiness and let no-one bring us down!

We respect our happiness, and we become the ‘main character’ (hello, someone’s been on TikTok alot :P), therefore, we live our best lives.

Also, it’s a win win for everyone, as the more we love ourselves, the happier we feel, so therefore we have more joy to share with the world. Our relationships become happier and healthier, our lives become happier and healthier.

Self Love is GREAT!

Having said all this, today I wanted to share with you two YouTube videos I have recently uploaded.

My first upload on my new channel is my ‘Self Love Guided Meditation with Affirmations’, which I have been doing pretty much every day for around the last week or so, this is excellent, and I am so excited to continue doing this. What I like about this meditation is the breathing exercise along with the meditation, as it really helps to draw you into the present moment and focus on that self love. I’m looking forward to continuing this as part of my morning routine.

Another way I incorporate self love into my daily routine is by using affirmations. If you’ve followed my blog for a while, or if you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know how much I love love love affirmations!!!

Affirmations are empowering, feel good vibe raisers which I personally find to be so beneficial for me, especially when I use these affirmations whilst looking in the mirror.

The more and more I use affirmations, the more I take these with me throughout my daily life, so I am my happiest, healthiest, best, most loving, most confident self!

I shared an affirmations track on YouTube, with self love affirmations for you to listen to as you wake up in the morning (I like to listen to this track first thing when I wake up, when I’m still sleepy and relaxing in bed, it’s a lovely way to see in the day and I love affirming my self love, happy reality first thing), you can listen to these whenever makes you feel good. As you’re getting ready for the day, as you are doing your skincare, or as you are out and about walking (thanks Mimi Bouchard for this walking inspo, she posts walking meditations on her app – so I’m guessing listening to affirmations whilst you go out for a walk is kind of similar, though I haven’t tried her walking meditations yet, I just wanted to shout her out hehe). I went out for a walk the other day and I listened to lots of affirmations as I walked, this felt so so good as I was affirming my wonderful positive reality with every step, and I was in alignment the whole time. I saw ‘222’, a picture of a dolphin (my Spirit Animal) and ‘5:55’. So wonderful.

Affirm your self love and carry these affirmations and these loving feelings towards yourself as you go about the rest of your day, carry the love for yourself with you all day, all night forever because YOU DESERVE IT. You have always been good enough, you are good enough, and you always will be good enough.

Please please please love yourself, because you are so worthy.
