Hello darlings and welcome back to my blog… it’s almost time for Veganuary!!! Exciting!
As someone who has recently committed to the vegan lifestyle myself (guys I completed my first vegan Christmas yippee), with Veganuary just around the corner I really wanted to share with the blogging world some of my vegan recommendations, so for anyone who is vegan, considering going vegan, or participating in Veganuary this year, you can have some more vegan inspo / food ideas to try!
This is a super random list of recommendations but they are some of my top vegan faves, from treats to meals, let’s get into it!
5 things to try throughout Veganuary!
The Conscious Candy Company treats – pick and mix! ❤️❤️❤️

To get your sweet fix, try The Conscious Candy Company for a range of vegan treats! My friend ordered me a bag of vegan pick & mix as part of my Christmas present, and with all the candy on the website being vegan, you’ll be sure to find something perfect for you. They also do a monthly subscription for the pick & mix which I’m definitely considering signing up for. If you have a sweet tooth, The Conscious Candy Company are the treats for you!

Vegan Spaghetti Bolognaise with Violife cheese and veg

One of my favourite vegan dinners! A simple spaghetti bolognaise made using vegan pasta / spaghetti and a vegan mince alternative – I use VivEra which is my favourite! For the cheese, I use Violife grated cheese which is the best vegan cheese alternative I have found so far, and of course, add any veg you choose to the meal for that extra goodness! Yum! I’m craving this now!
Gü Free From Gluten Free and Vegan Chocolate & Vanilla Cheesecake(s)

This is hands down one of the best vegan treats I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing, so good, highly recommend!!!!
Vegan cheese toastie
One of my favourite vegan lunches – a vegan cheese toastie using of course my favourite Violife cheese. Other ingredients for that extra pack of flavour include chopped onion, a little bit of vegan pesto, sweetcorn and even sometimes spinach. Too good!
Side note – make sure your pesto is vegan by checking the label – some pesto’s believe it or not are not vegan as they contain rennet / non vegan ingredients. Just check your pesto before buying to ensure it says that it’s vegan, or check the ingredients to make sure they’re vegan friendly. I was eating non veggie pesto for months without realising it wasn’t even vegetarian because I simply didn’t know!

Tesco Free From Choco Snaps

My go to vegan breakfast, Tesco sell a vegan alternative to Coco Pops which are pretty okay! They’re not as chocolate-y, naturally, but they’ve been my go to for pretty much the whole year, so they’re a good alternative!
Side note – Sometimes I enjoy adding Tesco Free From Rice Snaps to my bowl of Choco Snaps, it adds a little extra fun to my breakfast!

Will you be participating in Veganuary this year?
What are your favourite vegan meal / treat recommendations? Please feel free to leave your recs in the comments below for anyone else who may be looking for more yummy vegan suggestions – myself included!
Also be sure to give the Vegan Queen herself a follow, my friend Dannii! She is my go to vegan expert and I’m always messaging her asking for advice on vegan treats – she posts lots of great recommendations on her Instagram too!
Have a blessed day,
with lots and lots of love,
Jennie

Oh my gosh these look SO yummy! One of the things I miss about New York are all the Vegan restaurants and options I had available to me. It was way more easy there then it is in my hometown. I hope it is a yummy and delicious month sweet lady! ❤
