Self Love Friday

Hello, beautiful loved one. I was just reading one of my old journals & I was writing about my goals (in the old journal entry) and one of the goals I wrote about was how I want to teach the importance of self love and how important I think it is for self love to be taught from an early age – teaching babies, children, teenagers, adults of course too, everyone, just how important self love is. We all should love ourselves, we should be kind to ourselves, compassionate, patient, gentle. With that being said, I wanted to come on here and share a post with some self love affirmations, along with links to some of my previous posts on self love.

This is an extract of what I wrote in my journal entry that inspired this blog post – ‘If kids knew from a young age how to love themselves & respect themselves & others, how to practice meditation, the world would be a much healthier & happier & of course safer place’.

I hope you enjoy these self love affirmations, and practice some self love for yourself this week, however that looks to you. I also want to share a card from the Divine Feminine oracle deck by Meggan Watterson, (artwork by Lisbeth Cheever-Gessaman), this is Hestia.

Hestia is a lovely, warm, nurturing energy, call her into your heart with the vision of a warm loving fire, to nurture yourself & your soul & to be gentle with yourself, mind, body, Spirit and soul. ♥♥ Call upon the beautiful energy of Hestia to encourage you to be more gentle with yourself, it’s lovely. – Thanks to Meggan Watterson for this inspiration. ♥

  1. I LOVE this so much. I actually had this conversation in class recently. My take is that kids DO know how to love themselves and others so selflessly but that it is as we grow we learn how to un-love ourselves because of life and trauma. If we could hold onto that childlike innocent and oh so pure love, we would be so much better off. I would love to know what you think about this:) I hope you are having an amazing day beauty! ❤
