MUA Monday. Floral body paint πŸŒΈπŸ’πŸŒ»

Hey guys. 🌹 Today is Monday, so you know what that means. It’s time for another Makeup Monday. πŸ’„πŸ’„

Since Festival Season is upon us, I’ve decided to share with you today a floral body paint look. This was for a body painting assessment at college and was one of my first times body painting. I would love to create this look again because I think that even though I’m pretty happy with the original, I could do an even better job creating this look now since I’ve come so far and improved so much.

As you can see, the main colours used in this look are gold and green. I painted the whole face, upper torso and left arm gold using a Charles Fox aqua body paint. My favourite part of this look is the painted on flower crown, I think it looks really cool. I used little gems to create a more 3D look, and I added these to the centre of each flower, along the contour line and I placed some on the upper body too.

I absolutely love the above picture, my models hair looks so cool against the gold. As my model is facing away, you can see a lot more detail. I think the ‘flower crown’ looks especially cool here. Painting on the flowers took ages, as I had to be very precise and make sure I shaded properly so it looked 3D. Painting everywhere gold also proved quite tricky since it was aqua paint. It was quite hard to build it up and make it even and not streaky.

I had a lot of fun creating this look. I absolutely loved doing the flower crown and seeing the finished result, as I already said – that’s my favourite part of this look.

I might recreate this look at some point in the near future, so I can compare the two and see how I’ve improved.

A huge thankyou to my sister ZoΓ« for being my model, I definitely don’t envy how long it must have taken her to get everything off.

Thankyou all for reading. Make sure to let me know what you think of this look in the comments below. Love, Jennie. 🌹 xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
