Why I love blogging

Why I love blogging? It’s hard to say why I love blogging. I just do, and I genuinely couldn’t imagine my life without it. I feel like blogging gives me a purpose, and my blog is something for me to be proud of. I love having my own little space on the internet where I can express myself freely, where I can just go to write my thoughts and feelings out. I absolutely adore writing and my blog is somewhere where I can write as much as I want, and whatever I want. I love blogging because it’s enabled me to ‘meet’ so many fantastic people, learn about different places through other people’s travel posts and the support and love I receive from my fellow bloggers fills my heart with so much joy, and makes me a more confident and happier person. I love blogging just because, I feel as though it is a part of me and who I am. This blog is part of my identity and it’s something I am so thankful to have in my life.

Ten random facts about me.

I am currently learning to speak Spanish with the help of the app DuoLingo. I can hold basic conversations but I am excited to learn more and more everyday, my goal is to be fluent.

I was born in Surrey and moved to Milton Keynes when I was 5 years old where I lived until I was 16. I then moved to Menorca, followed by Scarborough and now I’m back living in Milton Keynes.

I’m currently learning how to drive. I had a bunch of lessons a few years ago but I quit, now I’m back at it again and determined to stick with it this time until I pass.

I once met Dani Harmer aka Tracy Beaker whilst wearing a wig designed to look like the English flag, in honour of England playing in the World Cup that day.

I love, love, love Eminem and have seen him live twice. I also may or may not have a ‘Slim Shady’ tattoo somewhere on my bod…

I’m a hugeee lover of Harry Potter and I’m 1000% a Gryffindor. My favourite characters are Ron and Luna.

Growing up I attended a theatre school every Saturday where I practiced drama, dance and singing, I left when I was about 14 because I wanted to keep my weekends free so I could stay home and watch the Disney Channel. LOL

I’ve only ever been on one holiday with my brother, to California when I was 14 / 15

I spent my 10th birthday in New York with my parents and sister, we went ice skating, on a horse and carriage ride around Central Park, up the Empire State Building and to see Good Vibrations on Broadway

1. Do you usually have your phone on vibrate, silent or full on loud? – LOUD. Always!

2. Do you prefer your ice cream in a cone or cup? – A cone for definite, so yummy. Although I’ll take it either way, sometimes a cup is less messy so it depends where I am / what I’m doing.

3. Did you ever play the game four square as a kid? – I never even heard of this game until now, so no.

4. Do you like college ruled or wide ruled paper better? – Ooh I never thought about this. I’m really not fussy either way. I just take whatever paper I get LOL.

5. What is your number one favourite TV series that runs for 30 minutes per episode? – The Inbetweeners.
